CuCrZr powder, also known as C18150, is a copper-based alloy powder used in advanced manufacturing and laser cladding, SLM and EBM. It’s known for its unique combination of high thermal and electrical conductivity, high strength, hardness, and wear resistance. These properties make it ideal for applications in industries requiring performance under extreme conditions, such as aerospace, automotive, and electronics.
CuCrZr is a precipitation hardened alloy meaning its high strength comes from coherent precipitates formed in the metal matrix. The composition plays a key role in achieving optimal precipitation hardening response.
Our CuCrZr powder is manufactured through gas atomization or PREP with spherical particle shape and excellent properties to make it ideal to create complex, high-performance parts.

Research on our powder by Har Institute showed that the CuCrZr alloy exhibits good properties under high-temperature sintering. When the sintering temperature is steadily increased to 723K, the relative density exceeds 99%, which indicates that the sintering is fully densified.

HIP Technology
