CuCrNb powder, also known as GRCop-42, is a copper-based alloy powder used in advanced manufacturing for its high thermal conductivity, good mechanical strength, and wear resistance. It combines copper’s conductivity with chromium’s corrosion resistance and niobium’s strength, making it suitable for high-performance applications in extreme environments, such as those found in aerospace and automotive industries.

Our CuCrNb powder is manufactured through gas atomization or PREP with  spherical particle shape and excellent properties to make it ideal for processes like selective laser melting (SLM) and electron beam melting (EBM) to create complex, high-performance parts.

HIP Technology

Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) technology works by placing the product in a closed container, filling it with inert gas and sintering or densifying the product at a very high temperature (usually close to the forging temperature of the material) and at a very high pressure (usually 100 – 140 MPa).
