SS321 Stainless Steel Powder

SS321 Stainless Steel, also called by UNS S32100, 1.4541, X6CrNiTi18-10, is renowned for its exceptional corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, making it a preferred choice across industries, like aerospace and automotive areas.

SS321 spherical powder is widely used as an additive manufacturing field, like Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) and Directed Energy Deposition (DED).

Our SS321 powders can be produced by gas atomized or PREP processes to get excellent spherical shape suitable for AM application.

Typical particle size of our SS321 powder includes: 15-45um, 15-53um, 20-63um for L-PBF; 45-105um for E-PBF; 50-150um for DED. Other particle size range also can be sieved according to customers’ needs.

HIP Technology

Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) technology works by placing the product in a closed container, filling it with inert gas and sintering or densifying the product at a very high temperature (usually close to the forging temperature of the material) and at a very high pressure (usually 100 – 140 MPa).
