Product Description

AlZn10 belongs to the 7000-series family of aluminum alloys which has high strength to weight
ratio, good corrosion resistance and precipitation hardening capacity. It consists primarily of
Alpha-Al solid solution with some Al-Zn intermetallic phases.
AlZn10 is actively researched for aerospace and automotive applications. Its mechanical
properties can exceed 7075 aluminum alloy.
Our AlZn10 powder is produced by vacuum gas atomization process with excellent sphericity,
flowability and lower oxygen content which is ideal for additive manufacturing (3D printing), LPBF
and DED processes.
But better noted, due evaporation of Zn, composition compensation strategies have to be
required during LPBF process.
