Ti6242 Titanium Alloy Powder
Ti6242 (Ti-6Al-4Zr-2Mo-2Sn-Si) (TA19) is a weldable & near-alpha titanium alloy with excellent mechanical strength, stability and creep resistance to temperature as high as 550℃, normally for high technology components, such as racing engines & jet engine compressors. The nominal density and hardness is 4.54g/cc and 34HRC respectively.
TRUER® Ti6242 spherical powder is prepared by the plasma rotary electrode atomization process (PREP) or Electrode induction gas atomization (EIGA).
Its common particle size range of Ti6242 powders includes 0-25um, 15-45um, 15-53um, 20-63um, 45-106um, 53-150um which can be applicable in MIM, AM, including SLM, EBM, DED etc.
