Ti2448 (Ti-24Nb-4Zr-8Sn) is a β-type titanium alloy, known for a low elastic modulus close to that of human bone. So it is new-generation medical material for implants (eg. Orthopedic or dental) to reduce stress shielding.

TRUER® Ti2448 spherical powder is prepared by the plasma rotary electrode atomization process (PREP) or Electrode induction gas atomization (EIGA). Its compressive yield strength of printed parts can reach 1100 MPa.

Its common particle size range of Ti2448 powders include 15-53um, 20-63um, 45-106um, 53-150um which can be applicable in additive manufacturing, such as SLM, EBM, DED etc.
