AISI/SAE 1045 Steel Powder

1045 powder is a specific grade of medium-carbon steel powder used in various metal 3D printing processes, such as Selective Laser Melting (SLM), to create robust, complex, and lightweight parts for industries like automotive and general engineering.

Our 1045 powder, produced by PREP for better spherical particles and less hollow & satellite powder used in 3D printing application, to offers a good balance of strength, durability, and cost-effectiveness, with the ability to be heat-treated after printing to further enhance mechanical properties.

The powder’s properties, such as particle size, shape, and flow, of our carbonyl 1045 powder are tailored for cold spraying and Metal Injection Molding (MIM) processes.
