Product Description
FeCoNiCrMnAl0.3 powder is one kind of non-equiatomic high entropy alloy (HEA) powder based on the classic Cantor alloy (FeCoNiCrMn) with the addition of aluminium (Al) at a nominal molar ratio of 0.3 relative to the other principle elements.
FeCoNiCrMnAl0.3 forms a primarily face-centred cubic (FCC) solid solution with minor BCC and Chromium and aluminum oxide (Cr2O3 and Al2O3). So it has higher yield strength and hardness compared to the base Cantor alloy and maintains reasonable ductility. It retains outstanding fracture toughness and strength at low temperature, similar to the original Cantor alloy.
Our FeCoNiCrMnAl0.3 powder is produced by gas atomization process with excellent sphericity, flowability and lower oxygen content which is ideal for additive manufacturing (3D printing), like LPBF or DED, for structural components and cryogenic parts or wear resistant coatings by thermal spraying.
