AlCu7 Aluminium Alloy Powder

AlCu7 is a binary aluminium copper alloy. The alloy belongs to the 2000-series family of
aluminum alloys, renowned for their excellent precipitation hardening capability, high strength to
weight ratio and good machinability. It can be used for structural components of aerospace and
automotive applications.
The microstructure of AlCu7 material contains Alpha-Al matrix and Al2Cu phase. Al2Cu phase is
brittle but provides significant strengthening through precipitation hardening.
Our AlCu7 powder is produced by vacuum gas atomization process with excellent sphericity,
flowability and lower oxygen content which is ideal for additive manufacturing (3D printing).
